These Youth Opportunities pages are intended to raise the awareness of Rotarians, young people and those working with young people to the rich opportunities Rotary has to offer youth here in D1100, and to be a source of information and support for those organising or thinking of organising a youth event.
It is hoped that District Rotarians interested in youth opportunities will regard these pages as their own, put forward new ideas, share experiences, and offer or seek advice. After all we are all members of a “youth investment” club.
These pages provide details of Rotary competitions and Good Citizenship initiatives.
Click News & Diary for the most recent additions.
Competitions are designed to encourage participation and to boost confidence and
self-esteem.
Good Citizenship initiatives are designed to stimulate interest and understanding by young people in their community and the world about them.
All will help young people develop new friendships and equip them in later life to achieve their full potential.
