District Governor Stewart's Newsletters
2008 Logo Every month I shall publish a newsletter which will record the activities of myself in the district and highlight some of the great projects and initiatives that the clubs and individual Rotarians are involved with. DG Photo
Also, I will include regular updates on the two specific emphases for the year which I hope that clubs will support:
Polio Eradication through the End Polio Now – Thanks for Life and
Literacy for the Blind and Partially-Sighted, supporting the R.N.I.B.
The June newsletter - my last as DG -  is headlined "We're nearly there (but lots still to do)".
Only as DG is it possible to appreciate the enormous amount of time effort and enthusiasm put into club projects by members. I provide updates about the excellent progress being made by District 1100 and
by Rotarians world-wide towards meeting the $200 million challenge issued last year by the Gates Foundation, and updates on a wide variety of local and national Rotary Initiatives.
