Kids Out Day Wednesday 8th June 2011
KidsOut day is organised by rotary in association with the Kidsout charity to provide a day of fun and happiness for disabled and under-privileged children at suitable venues such as a Theme Park or Zoo or Fun Fair. It's a day looked forward to by children and rotarians alike.

District 1100 has two multi-club events set up for clubs to choose from.
1. Cattle Country, nr Berkeley, organised by Andrew Hurley ( Gloucester)
2. West Midland Safari Park organised by Ernie Bussell (Avonmouth)
The advantages of these two events are that all the arrangements with the parks, safety issues and liaison with the charity are done for you by the organisers including the financial side of things. Your club just has to contact the special schools involved, pick up the children, and get them to the park and home again.
Alternatively of course your club can do it's own thing outside the two KidsOut events organised by the District shown above. In which case the arrangements are left entirely with your club using if you wish the helpful guide RIBI have produced which is attached below.
Unfortunately there is no financial assistance available from District 1100 or the KidsOut Charity for the event.
